I bought PHP Galleria a little over a week ago and have been working on improving it. Today I spent my entire Saturday on implementing new changes. Right now most of the site’s traffic comes referring websites and not much organic. Site lacked even the basic search engine optimization requirement when I bought it. I’m hoping the changes I’ve been making will change that and possibly double the site’s traffic or more.
Following is a list of the newest updates:
- Implemented a SEO title change for the homepage and product’s pages.
- Added a custom 404 page
- Added and setup demo pages for all the scripts
- Changed the site’s homepage title from “PHP Galleria” to “Buy Website PHP Scripts – PHP Galleria”
- Changed the product’s info pages title from “PHP Galleria” to “Products Name – PHP Galleria”.
- Added meta description and keyword to both homepage and product pages.
- Added a demo button to the product’s page. There was a text link to the demos before but not a clear button.
- Installed Google Sitemap Feed add-on and submitted the feeds to Google Webmaster Tools.
- Installed Automatic Thumbnail Creator to reduce the size of thumbnail images and of the pages loading.
- Added a favicon to the site.
