I’m sure many of you are aware of the new clashes between Iran’s government and the Iranian people. The life of Islamic Republic regime is almost over. It is only a matter of months before they are forced out. This brings up the critical question that “What is the replacement/alternative?”
Mousavi is a brave man. He has been a true leader and (unlike Khatami in his time) has stood in front of this regime alongside people. However his message is that he wants to follow Khomeini’s path. That scares me. Khomeini’s path was dictatorship. He took us where we are today. He ordered mass murders. He had no feelings for Iran. His path is not where we want to follow.
That being said, I am confident that Iranian people are smart enough not to make the same mistake twice and will only vote for a government that separates religion from politics.

that’s the most important question, who is going to take place after them? You know there are so many people who don’t support Mousavi but support Green Movement ! if there was just a perfect leader , this regime would be down long time ago !

Excellent point! I soooooo hope you’re right. I hope this year will be the last year of this stupid regime and that the replacement government will be some new secular entity; one that recognizes Khomeini was another ruthless murderer. All the best wishes to you for this new year!
