Shahrak Ekbatan (Ekbatan Apartments) is probably the largest apartment complex in Tehran and Iran. It was built in Shah’s time and has been developed further and expanded since.
Ekbatan is right beside Apadana apartments on the west side of Tehran beside Karaj autobahn. Ekbatan has its own shopping centers, elementary/middle school/high schools, parks, mosques, and a lot more. I would guess close to 100,000 people live in Ekbatan.

Surprise, I am named Nima too. :p I haven’t been to Iran in 10 years and seeing this makes me sad I have not gone yet. Next year maybe, thanks for the great photos.
I know, I hadn’t been back for almost 7 years myself and had the best time over there. You should definitely go sometime even for a short visit.
