McCain ended up choosing Sarah Palin as his running mate. It is an obvious attempt at one thing only – attracting Hillary Clinton voters. When I read about senator McCain’s pick I was absolutely astoned as how naive he assumed the American women are. If he had any chance at winning the election it just got shattered by this pick.

Senator McCain’s pick of governor Sarah Palin as potential vice president has one possible advantage for him – The Hillary voters might come to his side. Seriously? I would think women would feel offended by this pick. What this pick means is that “hey, you women, here is another female you can vote for” – As if American women were picking Hillary Clinton only because she was a female.

Senator Clinton should be offended by this pick as John S. McCain (as Sarah Palin loves to stress the “.S” part so much) is offering Sarah Palin as the alternative to choosing Hillary Clinton. The two women are not comparable by a long shot in terms of experience, values, influence, etc. For God’s sakes Sarah Palin is against abortion.

I honestly think American women are far wiser to be fooled by such political tactics. If a true American patriot that was running for presidency wanted to pick a vice president, he would have made that choice based what will be good for the country, not what can benefit him the most in winning the election. What good can Sarah Palin possibly bring to Washington?

But as one friend of mine mentioned, don’t be surprised if some registerered democrate women vote for McCain just because he has a female running mate. And for those of you who might, just keep in mind if Sarah Palin becomes the vice president she is a heart beat away from sitting at the oval office and deciding how United States should deal with Palestine or a new cold war.
