Many of us use Google Analytics for all or some of our websites to track statistics of our websites. One of the websites that I have used Google Analytics on is Hookah Store. However, since that website is an online store, it has secure pages. Google Analytics javascript code (the one most people use) is not secure. So when going through checkout pages my visitors kept getting un-secure messages and basically the pages were not secure.

I did a little research and here is the solutions:

On the Google Analytics page, click “Edit” in front of the profile of the website in question. Then change “http://www” to “https://ssl”. Click “Submit”. Find the new javascript code given by Google Analytics and install that on your website. Note that now Google is connecting the javascript to “ssl.google-analytics.com” which is a secure server.

Your security problems due to Google Analytics should be fixed by this. If your page is still giving errors chances are you have other problems to fix.
