I was reading a photography book and came across this tip, so I thought to share it with you guys…
- If you are taking a picture of an object from close rang and trying to blur the background (to show the depth of field) you should almost always use tripod. However, even with a tripod the camera shakes a little bit when you press the shutter button (to take the picture).
The way you can fix that is to use the timer shutter. Then there is no shaking when the picture is being taken…
Photography has not remained only for professionals there is much guidance available at online resources as well. Also the technology has advanced and gadgets like canon digital cameras have made it look easy. These digital cameras can also work as video cameras. On the other hand greater functionality comes with cost of more powerful camera batteries.

Depth of field is controled by the aperture, not the shutter speed. The larger the aperture 1.4, 2.8 the lest amount of the pic will be in focus and that maginifies when close up. Longer lens tend to enhance this and wide angles tend not to show as much. Usally when shooting wide open, the speed will go up and the need for a tripod is not really needed unless you shake really bad.
