1- In the Admin mode, go under “Options” –> “Permalinks“. Under common options choose “Cusom, specify below” and in the custom structure filed put: /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%/
2- Go to SEO Title Tag, download the plugin. Upload the plugin to your blog and activate it. Then go to your “header.php” file and change your title tag as indicated in the instruction of the plugin.
3- Go to XML Sitemap Generator for Wordpress and download the latest stable version. Upload the plugin, activate it, follow the instruction and produce a sitemap for your blog. Then go to Google Webmaster Tools and submit your sitemap.
4- Hand submit your blog to as many directories as possible. You can find a list of directories with their reviews here.
5- Download and install the SH-AutoLink plugin for your wordpress. SH-AutoLink transforms predefined words into hyperlinks in posts and comments.
